The reception staff were very friendly and the check‑in was extremely hassle‑free; our room on the eleventh floor offered a stunning view of the Statue of Liberty, and I love that I can open the window to feel the light, plus the beds are comfortable. The only downside is that the music in the lounge/bar area is very loud and the air‑conditioning is intense.

The front‑desk staff were straightforward, professional, and very friendly; the room on the tenth floor was wonderful with a fantastic view. Nothing to complain about.

The décor is genuinely nice, the reception is warm and friendly, and it’s a welcome change from chain hotels. However, a $300 deposit was held on your card and might not be refunded until 10–15 days after check‑out, and the staff didn’t convincingly explain why the wait would be so long.
