Catherine and Serge are the most incredible hosts. They met us at the train station, served a phenomenal breakfast each morning, offered to clean daily, and helped secure dinner reservations. The guesthouse was incredibly clean, the beds very comfortable, and the garden and outdoor area beautiful. They’re in a great location within walking distance to most spots. It was a truly wonderful experience. The only note: if you use the upstairs room, the steep staircase and the large clawfoot tub in the upstairs bathroom could be an issue for people with mobility problems. The downstairs bed and bath are perfect for someone with mobility issues.

The place was comfortable, clean, and pretty, but what really made it special was Catherine and Serge’s warmth and friendliness. You could see they’re genuinely passionate about what they do. Every morning we looked forward to the hearty and tasty breakfast. The apartment, which you can fully enjoy, comes with everything you need (kitchen tools, hair dryer, games, etc.) for a stay; the bed is comfortable and there’s a private terrace. The location is very quiet and you can walk to Bayeux’s center in no time. They also offer a parking spot for cars.

We were absolutely thrilled with our time at Serge and Catherine’s place. The accommodation itself is stunning and authentically charming. Time seems to stand still there—you won’t feel the urge to check your emails again. The breakfasts were a particular delight, with homemade jam, fresh crêpes, madeleines, regional goodies, and beautifully set tables—pure France at its finest. But the real highlight was Serge and Catherine’s genuine warmth and hospitality; you feel like part of a family rather than just a guest. “A must stay in Bayeaux!”

Everything was just perfect. So many small details attended to. Cute, cozy accommodations. Generous and wonderful hosts. Catherine and Serge went above and beyond in all aspects. They gave us recommendations on where to visit, eat, etc. such a pleasant stay. Breakfast was amazing everyday. Used the washing machine easily. Easy walk to downtown with lots of restaurants, grocery, etc close. Parking on site. Would highly recommend and will come again!. There was nothing I didn't kike

“Fantastisk”

The most beautiful place with the most fantastic hosts. A cozy house decorated in French style with many charming details. Breakfast was served by the neighbors who were our hosts. A lovely closed and peaceful garden.
