The overall experience was comfortable. The staff were pleasant and flexible, the common areas and rooms were beautiful and cozy. The food was good and the restaurant was comfortable. The outdoor terrace was nice and varied. The surroundings were lovely, with good bike and walking options. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The only downside was that the single‑bed mattress in the one‑person room was really bad.

The location is great; from here you can quickly drive into the center of Dortmund. Breakfast was sparse and a bit late. The attic room had a lot of spider webs, a crooked chair, and two of the three bathroom lamps were broken.

This small hotel is charming. The restaurant and staff were absolutely lovely, and the food there was fantastic and good value. The rooms were basic but adequate, and there was plenty of parking. However, there was no kettle in the room or tea and coffee facilities in the main area, so outside of breakfast I couldn’t make tea or coffee. Breakfast was disappointing compared to the restaurant food; it would be nice to have more cooked options in the morning or more fruit. The road is noisy from about 5 am onward and busy. The rooms needed more toilet paper, and there was no cleaning or towel changing even after three nights.

The small double room was nice, the staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant where the food was really good, and the location was good. The room’s curtains were too thin, making it hard to block out light from both sides. The breakfast room was a bit small and relatively dark. Staff were rarely present at breakfast, and there was little fresh fruit available. On Mondays the kitchen was closed, leaving only white rolls, no scrambled eggs, and no fruit. A bit of melon was eventually added after asking, and the staff member was friendly, but overall the breakfast did not match the price‑to‑value ratio.
