The courtyard was beautiful, very cozy, and the room was pleasant. The windowsill was dirty (dry leaves and dust), which was problematic because the bathroom was small and could have been cleaned. Coffee was only decaf, and it wasn’t refilled the next day or the day after. I found cigarette ash in the fridge and the inside edge of the door was moldy. My room’s window was next to the entrance door of the living area, so I could hear everyone coming and going. Moreover, the door was knocked on because there is no knob outside. The hotel receptionist said I could call if I needed anything, but I didn’t want to argue or fight during this short four‑day stay, even though I encountered these issues while I was there.
“Non lo ripeterei”
The location was close to the center. The room was really small and uncomfortable; the bed was positioned in front of a window overlooking a common passage, so there was zero privacy.
“Ottimo”
The place had a decent spot. Nothing else worth noting.
The entrance was comfortable and very well located. The room was split between the bedroom and bathroom by a hallway that couldn’t be closed, which hurt the privacy of that aspect.
“Grata sorpresa!”
The surprise of booking on the same day turned out great: the house, its location, the cleanliness, and the mattress were all spot on. The only hiccup was a curtain rod in one room that kept falling and the shower in our room was too tight, especially with the glass panel closed.
