Nestled in a 15th‑century quarry near Amboise, this troglodyte B&B offers stone‑walled rooms with parquet floors, contemporary décor, and spa baths or hydro‑massage showers. A heated underground pool, free Wi‑Fi, and a flowered garden terrace provide relaxation. Located a 10‑minute walk from Amboise Castle, 15 minutes from Château de Chenonceau, and free on‑site parking.

An unprecedented experience—a wonderful discovery! Don’t be afraid of the enclosed areas 😅 personally I couldn’t stay more than one night. Still, it’s so interesting, cozy, tastefully furnished, and focused on your well‑being! Must do!

The underground living experience, professional welcome from the owner, and the perfect pool. Everything was flawless.

The location and originality are great, but the humidity is a drawback.

We liked being able to swim in the pool.

The place sits in a great spot and feels one-of-a-kind, but it really needs a facelift—plaster and woodwork are worn out, the bed is too small and uncomfortable, and the towels and linens are old. The toiletries in the shower could be better, and the pool was chilly, not the advertised 28 °C.
