“Great choice”

After a rough first night with a power cut and a generator delay, the owner handled it professionally, took responsibility, and waived the night’s cost, and from then on the stay was excellent; the cottage sits right on the sea, the setting is peaceful and beautiful, and falling asleep to the waves was unforgettable; the staff were kind and helpful, the owner engaging and knowledgeable, and though it’s a bit out of the way, taxis and motorbikes are easy to find; once settled in, it was absolutely worth it, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a calm seaside stay.

Great spot and helpful staff, but upon arrival we learned there was no windmill room; we were instead given a room with air conditioning at the same price. The room needed a facelift, the furniture was outdated, and it wasn’t clean.

“Hyvä ja viihtyisä perustason paikka, me viihdyimme -mutta ei luksusta haluaville.”

The breakfast was good: coffee/tea, bread, butter, cream cheese, an egg, and jam. On a sunny day they offered fruit. The location was calm, right on the beach, and the little terrace in front of the room was nice. The food wasn’t bad but it was pricey. Other dining spots were a bit of a walk away. There’s a construction site nearby now, but it didn’t bother us too much.

There was no electricity and it wasn’t organized. The room door was broken and I couldn’t sleep because there was no power that day and the generator had no batteries.
