Excellent friendly staff, the food was good standard with quality ingredients and hot, and the breakfast was excellent and included. The rooms were not spotlessly clean, and the food service hours were limited.

Nice location by the canal, very friendly staff, unfussy and informal, with a good breakfast.

Everything under one roof – the room, bar, and restaurant – made for a great location for a peaceful rural stay, and the staff were excellent. The place was a bit tired and in need of modernisation.
