I generally prefer to choose Marriott hotels for my travels. And, as a rule, their hotels tend to be of high quality. However, I didn't get that same vibe at this particular hotel. Typically, the staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming, but that wasn't really the case here. At the end of our two-night stay, my spouse and I decided to have a drink in the lobby. My spouse asked for tea, and I asked for coffee. The waiter—whose name I didn't catch—wasn't even sure if coffee was available, and when he brought the tea, it was served in a paper cup. Both the tea bag and the paper cup were items that were already provided in our room. In my opinion, when you order a drink in the lobby of a hotel of this caliber, it certainly shouldn't be served in a paper cup. I generally prefer to choose Marriott hotels for my travels.
