All the staff were warm and the cost‑performance was outstanding; the hot‑spring water was great, and I was thrilled with the free coffee and breakfast. If I had to point out anything, it would be that I wish there were hand towels in the bathroom.

Very pretty hotel, spacious and well‑furnished rooms, the private baths were superb, the meal was incredible, and we had a very good night. Everything was perfect.

Clean, friendly. The food was a bit underwhelming.

A fantastic traditional ryokan with fabulous welcome, delicious meals, very comfortable traditional rooms, and enjoyable onsens with a view of Mount Zao when the sky is clear. Nothing to add.
