It was quiet and relaxing. The Ruru welcome at dusk was amazing, and it’s always nice to know the locals still care for Te Taiao. Excellent rest and relaxation.

The lounge and deck offered great privacy and stunning views, and Shona had already turned on the heaters, making the arrival feel warm and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints.

The location was lovely, but heavy rain prevented us from enjoying the beautiful setting and outdoor area. The cottage was well designed with a great layout. I would have preferred a king bed because my husband is tall and has a bad back, so a larger bed would have been more comfortable.
