I liked that it was close to Marbella’s historic centre. The staff were very friendly, and the establishment was spacious. The bedding was just average, the shower wall was wobbly but still functional.

The hotel has a swimming pool, but it’s only open from 12 – 19:00, so I never got to swim. The room I booked was supposed to have a double bed, yet we received two single beds on different levels; the receptionist couldn’t fix it. My husband and I had to sleep on separate levels because the beds had different heights. In the mornings, around 7 or 8 am, there was noise from ground works outside the hotel’s property, and no one warned us, so we couldn’t sleep. In the evenings, the shower had no hot water.
