Hotel de la Gare Aalst is situated adjacent to Aalst Train Station, offering 650-meter proximity to the city centre. The hotel features functional rooms with private bathrooms, TVs, and seating areas in select units. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a breakfast buffet, and a snack bar with a terrace. Packed lunches are available upon request, and free public parking is provided. Brussels and Ghent are within a 30-minute drive.

The location is nice. The rooms lack air conditioning.

A cheap hotel for a layover night, not luxurious but everything needed is present. Even a large fan and a fridge were in the room. No frills, just a bed, shower/toilet, a table with two chairs, and a flatscreen TV. There was a lot of outside noise, but that’s expected near a square right by the station. With the window closed, it was fine, but it was too hot then.

The breakfast is excellent and can be tailored to your needs on request. I had bad luck with my neighbor, who played techno music.

The location was convenient and the town was nice. The bed was comfortable and the Wi‑Fi was good. However, everything was quite dilapidated, with many fixtures broken and dirty.
