The accommodation was spacious and the location ideal, yet everything was perfect.

The family that owns the place is very helpful and kind, but the room was full of spiders, spiderwebs, worms, and a huge cockroach; cleaning at least once a month would prevent all of this. The place is what it is, so you shouldn't expect much more regarding noise or amenities, but you can't rent a room under these cleaning conditions.

The spot is near Moalboal yet in a quiet area, less than 10 minutes by scooter from the lively center. Small shops are just 2 seconds from the room, and the room includes a kettle, which is nice for a morning coffee. They rent very good scooters at a ridiculously low price. Finally, the staff are incredibly kind; they can pick you up and drop you off at the bus station, for example, and do it for free. We offered them money, which they declined. They are extremely friendly and I can only recommend staying here for an authentic exchange with Filipinos.

Water is available, but the mattress is foam, far too soft and it hurts your back. The cabin is beside the road and lacks insulation, so you hear all the motorcycles from early morning. There is no flush toilet and the WC is tiny.
