We stayed for one night with friends and family in a double bedroom. The hotel felt a bit old‑fashioned and had a strange smell when we first entered—maybe a detergent scent, but it didn’t bother us once we opened the window. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had a large private bathroom. Towels, handwash, shower gel, tea/coffee, and a kettle were provided. The hotel is very close to supermarkets, food places, McDonald’s, KFC, etc. There’s a bar on the ground floor and enclosed private parking. The stairs are tricky for physically challenged people. A microwave and dishes in the common passage were very helpful. Thanks to the hotel; overall it was fabulous and we enjoyed our stay. No issues.

The location was great. The bunk beds were a bit hard, but that didn’t matter for the rest.

I didn’t get any breakfast, the room had a damp smell, and the bed sheets were never changed. Everything else was just bad.

The pub kept a few people out until 3 am, and every time they stepped outside for a cigarette I’d tip them, which kept me awake laughing and joking. No sleep at all; I had to be up at 5 am.
