Located 5 miles from Bellingham International Airport, the Coachman Inn is a downtown Bellingham, Washington hotel offering an outdoor pool and sauna. Guest rooms feature expanded cable TV with HBO, refrigerators, coffee makers, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is in an easy-to-get-to location and quick to get to campus if you are visiting WWU. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and helpful. The large continental breakfast has long hours. Prices always remain reasonable even when it is a busy weekend at WWU. The building is older and hallways can be noisy, as well as the freeway noise, but nothing that some earplugs don’t muffle.

It was a simple, clean, and comfortable spot in a central location. Quiet at night, and having access to laundry, a gym, and a sauna were huge perks. The staff were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but did the trick. The value for the price was amazing. I would absolutely recommend it and will stay again. A little petty, but the towels were scratchy and the sheets could use an upgrade. That did not detract from the stay overall.

We liked the room a lot and the breakfast was good. However, the room had two beds and there wasn’t enough space on the wall side of the beds to get in and out easily. In general, for all the places we stay we want a desk to work at, a table to eat at, end tables on each side of the bed and plenty of USB outlets.

The staff were super sweet and very helpful, even offering to carry my bags, which I appreciated. The beds were comfy. It was a nice stay and I’ll be back.
