The room was tiny but nicely arranged, even had a little kitchen that worked fine. Unfortunately it had a strange odor, the toilet was broken and the street noise was relentless, making it impossible to get any sleep. The front door was a pain to open and I was hit with an extra €10 cleaning charge that only showed up at the bottom of the bill.

The advertised price was €20, then the owner slipped in another €10 for cleaning that wasn’t mentioned up front. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet seat was broken, and a cracked ceiling window had a sharp metal piece hanging out that could have been dangerous. The mattress even had a toothpick on it, the water was icy, and the whole place reeked of sewage.

The staff member who handled everything was fantastic—when my car broke down they sent someone to the airport to pick me up and arranged a rental car without any paperwork. The location is spot‑on, the price was fair, and the room felt brand new with working AC, a TV, and all the basics in good shape.
