The place was clean and the two beds fit nicely alongside the fireplace and kitchen, plus a private bathroom was a bonus. However, we hit a wall of problems: we couldn’t get in on arrival because an error kept popping up and an alarm went off; they said it might happen during power outages and promised a key, but none was left. When we asked for help, the staff seemed clueless. After a brief power surge we slipped inside, but then the management vanished from contact. Every attempt to leave the dome locked us out again, which is a nightmare if you’re hoping to catch the northern lights. The heating was another nightmare—plugging the heater into any outlet cut the power, so we had to rely on a fireplace that ran out of wood before morning, leaving us freezing. Several switches were dead, and even charging a phone would trigger a blackout.

The dome blends beautifully into the natural surroundings, offering a calm, quiet, and secure atmosphere that feels cozy. One small improvement would be adding low landscape lights from the parking area to the domes for better nighttime visibility.

We had an amazing stay; the domes are surprisingly well equipped, with everything you could need, even champagne glasses. They’re very comfortable and spotless. The surrounding forest is a treasure trove of hidden gems worth exploring. The only downside is the heating—ideally it should be automatic. It works well when you build a fire, but you have to keep it going all night, and it ends up being too hot on the upper bed while the lower bed stays chilly.
