The Dootdootdoot restaurant experience was disappointing.

The location and property were stunning, and I only wish we could have stayed longer than one night; the staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The only minor issue was that the curtain around the bathroom window didn’t cover it completely, so you could see into the bathroom area.

The staff were very friendly and there were a lot of fun extras, and the room itself was amazing! However, the dinner at Doot Doot Doot was a bit of a letdown; they’re trying to do fine dining, but it would be much better if they stuck to main meals. The breakfast and room service were 10/10!

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The staff are fabulous and can’t do enough for you. The cocktail bar is lovely and having the cellar door in the grounds is great. I appreciate that the hotel is for guests over age 12 only, which makes it a tranquil retreat. Breakfast was a slight disappointment; I’d have preferred more pastries and yoghurt and to skip the hot breakfast because it wasn’t great on either day. Also the outdoor spa can get very busy and noisy, which was unfortunate for us as our room was directly opposite it and the users could see and hear us if we opened our balcony door.
