I made the mistake of booking this place. I fell ill and had to cancel the vacation to go home.

I booked a unit that was advertised as a tent but was actually a permanent structure (the photos show a wooden building). I paid immediately after booking, and Booking confirmed I had paid the full price and would not owe more. Minutes later I received an email from the venue telling me I had to pay another 47 ₪. I was told check‑in was only at 16:00, even though I asked for an earlier time and got no answer. At 15:00 they called asking if I could arrive earlier; I did, got a park entry card, but was told the unit wasn’t ready. When I arrived at 16:00 and searched for the unit, someone in the park driving a golf cart told me my number belonged to GLAMPING – a tent. I tried to find someone at the office or front desk but no one was available. Everything was closed. At night the tent was freezing, almost no amenities, no towels, no soap. Paying 200 ₪ for that? Crazy. The cold made my wife sick that night. Even though I paid for two nights, the next morning I went to the office and asked if I could get a normal unit and was willing to add money. She said I could pay 500 ₪ for another unit but wouldn’t get a refund for the night I’d already paid for, which was basically a tent (I paid about 200 ₪ per night!). Because I booked and paid through Booking and EUROPARCS doesn’t work with Booking on weekends, the staff were dismissive and showed no consideration. The front desk told me to go to Booking with complaints. I returned the entrance ticket and the envelope they gave me (I checked out), we took our stuff and left. We booked a room elsewhere that was great.

“Es schreit nach einer Wiederholung, zumindest im Sommer.”

The glamping tent was well set up, with comfortable beds, a large tent area, and always hot water. The area around the tent was very quiet and kid‑friendly. We liked the park’s facilities and the kids enjoyed them. We were pleasantly surprised. Shopping options were plenty in the town, but scarce in the park. The beds were super warm even though the temperatures were cooler. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal, the beach was a bit far but doable, and the complaints were high‑level.

“Celkově ubytování super, soukromí, klid. Kemp krásný, na kole kousek do Alkmaar.”

The accommodation was well equipped, the kitchen had everything, including a dishwasher, which was a plus. Bikes could be stored in a shed, and there were bike racks outside. Clean and quiet privacy. Fully satisfactory and sufficient for the stay. If you have hot days in summer (+30 °C), there’s no air‑conditioning, so you’ll have to ventilate the accommodation until the evening.

Nice surroundings and a beautiful park. There was a lot of noise from the surrounding roads.
