“Nice relaxing place in Anda!”

The staff were very helpful and attentive, the landscaping and birds of paradise around the property were beautiful, and the beach was easily accessible with plenty of private spots to relax. The free Wi‑Fi, however, didn’t work in our room and we had to step outside to get an internet connection.

The location was too far from the airport, but a complimentary breakfast bundled with the room rate would have made up for that inconvenience. I would also suggest installing a telephone in each villa for easier service and communication, and adding memory foam beds and pillows.

“Exclusive stay, perfect place to unwind.”

A very special place for me and my husband; we had stayed here before when we were boyfriend and girlfriend in 2022, and we returned to bring my family so they could see how good the place is. Unfortunately July is also a typhoon month in the country, so we missed the chance to enjoy the beach’s beauty, though we know it would be amazing on a sunny day as we have seen before. Nothing negative— the property is well maintained and very clean. However, walking along the shoreline reveals neighboring properties littered with garbage that the City Council, Municipality, or whoever is responsible should address. The beauty of Anda is yet to be discovered by tourists and should be protected as much as J&R really takes good care of theirs.

J and R Residences in Anda, Bohol offered a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The quietness of the area made it easy to unwind, and the food was consistently excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. However, our stay ended on a disappointing note. During our last days there, the water coming from the faucet turned yellow. We were informed that the water tank had run out of supply and likely needed cleaning. Unfortunately, we had already been using this water to brush our teeth before the issue was identified. While the staff addressed our concerns and explained the situation, this experience significantly affected our impression of the property. Overall, J and R Residences has many strengths, particularly its outstanding staff, tranquil location, and quality food. However, the water issue raised concerns about maintenance and hygiene, and because of this experience, I am uncertain whether I would choose to stay here again.

“A luxurious, beautiful, quiet stay with personal touch of the owners and staff.”

This place is paradise. The view of the sea is incredible. Property construction was well designed and constructed. It is immaculately maintained. Nothing to report
