“Disappointing”

The owner of the B&B two doors down, The Glenroy, was friendly and helped us check in, but he was never at the property during our stay, so we had to manage ourselves. The room lacked the promised toiletries and hairdryer, and Wi‑Fi was missing. It was dirty: we had to move the bed to pick up a dropped item, finding a dirty sock, empty wrappers, and cotton pads underneath. When we shifted the bed, the duvet fell and was dust‑covered. The beds were uncomfortable and lopsided, almost tipping over when turned. The communal TV area downstairs was filthy, with a rug full of crumbs and a sofa covered in crisp crumbs. The porchway was sandy, and the outside seating area was littered with rubbish and an overflowing ashtray. Having stayed here before, this visit was a major letdown, and I won’t return. The area itself was noisy, with many people across the road smoking weed, and the odor was often awful.

It was a good experience; my first time in Blackpool, I spent three days and enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and clean.

“Friendly host, clean hotel & facilities would stay again”

The hotel was clean and in a good location, but the curtains were missing, so morning light woke me up earlier than expected.

At first glance it looked lovely and clean. Didn't like the fact that the owners weren't there and had to go to another hotel to get checked in. One of my friends who had been told there had a room booked ended up having to pay out for another hotel as the owner didnt have them on the system. The owner didnt even have the decency to answer his phone or messages and when the other hotel owner phoned him he just laughed about the situation. Woke up today after an unsettled night as my legs were itching most of night
