Hotel Rufolo, a family‑run gem in Ravello’s historic center, sits beside Villa Rufolo’s gardens. Rooms overlook either the lush gardens or the Mediterranean Sea. The property boasts an outdoor pool, a terrace lounge with views of a 12th‑century tower, marble floors, antique décor, free Wi‑Fi, satellite TV, and air conditioning.

The spot is great and the town is lovely—a nice place to unwind. The staff were a bit grumpy, except for the Japanese waitress and the always helpful handyman, who were friendly.

Everything! The location, the views, the friendly staff, the excellent restaurant, and the room was pretty nice and clean. No complaints.

Great location, but the older building could use a lift. The shower didn’t drain and there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom pipes.

The hotel is clean and the staff are polite, but they’re not very helpful or knowledgeable about local porters, who only work for the hotels they belong to. We found an independent porter by spotting them during our walks around town. The air conditioning in my room was good, but I heard from people in our wedding party that the suite had no AC. It was quite warm, in the high 80s. The bathroom had a very foul smell that lingered for a few hours, and the shower didn’t drain well, leaving me standing in water for short, minimal showers. I told the desk, but the same issue happened the next day. Not worth what we paid for.
