The location and the beachfront are perfect! The breakfast and lunch attendants are extremely polite and do everything to please. On the last day my 10‑year‑old son had a severe viral illness with diarrhea and vomiting. Check‑out was scheduled for 12:00 and my driver would pick us up at 16:30. I asked for a grace period because of the situation. The attendant Rodrigo said in a firm tone that the hotel was 100% full and that there were already reservations for new guests. In the morning my son did not improve, vomited several times, and had diarrhea, so I was worried. I returned to the reception and asked Rodrigo if there would be any room left for my son to recover, rest, and sleep until the driver arrived. He surprised me by saying there would be a grace period until 16:00, BUT only if we paid half a day. I felt a lack of concern for the situation and a conditioning to payment. No empathy was perceived. Rodrigo only managed to grant the grace period for check‑out after I mentioned the possibility of payment due to my worry. Finally, we paid R$400.00 to stay an extra 4 hours so my son could recover. No sense of welcome from the reception staff. None!!!
