“L’endroit est juste incroyable, le quartier et le logement est top pour ceux qui veulent aller aux studios”
Little nods to Harry Potter.
Close to a shop, on the ground floor. We had two single beds for our wedding‑anniversary weekend, pushed them together and managed. Lots of noise from people running up and down the stairs in the main house. The room layout could have been better.
The service was flawless; we had a few hiccups like the door’s mechanism, which is different in our country, but the staff answered immediately and even suggested a breakfast spot. The room was very clean, smelled great, and was perfectly located for our Harry Potter studio visit. The beds were super comfortable and we slept very well. The only issue was the room next to ours on the first night didn’t respect the no‑noise policy and was a bit disruptive; we contacted the accommodation and they responded right away and fixed the problem.
“Pleasant accomodation and would stay again.”
Easy access; good location; reasonably quiet; large bedroom and ensuite. The mattress was a little too soft.
“Clean accommodation in a shared house ideal for Harry Potter Studio Tour”
We booked a side‑room that kept us away from the other guests, giving us full privacy and a spotless room stocked with everything we needed. The host was welcoming and helpful, and my son and I got a quick breakfast with crockery ready before heading to the studio. The tiny fridge held the 4‑pint jug my son drank from during our short stay, and the microwave worked great for my porridge. The kettle was perfect for my travel coffee filter. A Coop is just a short walk away for essentials. We walked from the train station—if you have a lot of luggage a bus might be better, but our light bags were fine. Harry Potter was our main attraction, and the property was only about a 10‑minute walk from the studio; we showed tickets at a security booth first. It was a relief to arrive late the night before and know we’d be at the 9.30 slot in the morning, especially since we didn’t have to lug luggage with us. The neighbourhood is quiet, with little traffic noise and no general hubbub, and it felt safe even late at night. On the downside, there’s no doormat—walking straight onto a clean tiled floor is a bit harsh on shoes, and it could be a tripping hazard. The only internal door between this side room and the rest of the house leads to the kitchen, so if the other guests are loud or start early coffees you’ll hear them, but I took earplugs and slept fine, not expecting a silent retreat.
