“A wonderful place as a solo traveller and the spa was luxurious”
The building itself is a beautiful historic example and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, incredibly helpful during check-in and check-out not only explaining car parking and the facilities, but offering to help with my suitcase. The south American bartender was lovely and made great margaritas. Breakfast was wonderful with hot dishes made to order, fresh orange juice and options to have a variety of styles of coffee (I had a French press). I had a facial at the spa, which was luxurious and huge taking up the entire basement floor. If I could afford it, I would have had longer treatments. The view from the room was straight onto another building, but you can't really change that with a property like this. The location feels a bit away from the action, but that is also good as it is quiet and was right next to a park which I didn't get to explore
