The carpet hadn't been vacuumed and the guy at the counter came across as arrogant; after a long motorcycle trip I tried to be understanding, but at 77 I didn't want a smart reply about third‑party bookings and email confirmations. He handed me the cards, I slipped them into my pocket, asked another question and he answered, then when I asked for the room number again he said it was on the card. I paid much less for better accommodations. I used the wrong square, but overall it was a great place to sleep for my son and me.

It was a rough night and I almost left. The concrete in front of the room leading to the parking lot was torn up, causing me to trip while unloading the car. The sheets on the beds were not cleaned and had been slept in, so we had to sleep on the covers, and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.
