Being on the beach and having a good location are positives. The downside is having to wash kitchen utensils in the bathroom sink.
The location is great, and the food and drink prices at the bar and restaurant are reasonable. The bed was a bit soft; after nine days I noticed it. I prefer firmer mattresses.
“Gostamos muito, pessoal bem atencioso, ambiente familiar, perto de tudo, valeu muito s hospedagem.”
I liked everything, but there was no place to hang beach clothes.
“Quarto desconfortável”
The TV had cable. The experience was horrible. I didn’t notice the listing said this was an Airbnb, which I’d never seen on Booking before. From the ad I thought it was a hotel room, but it’s actually a private owner’s room with the 24‑hour reception service of Ponta Negra Beach Residence. The receptionists were apathetic. We arrived to a room that, while it could sleep three people, felt tiny like a studio. The extra bed has a spring mattress that’s extremely uncomfortable. The towels were dirty with stains, and the bathroom floor was disgusting. I asked for a towel change at reception, but it took an hour because the building needed to get approval from the owner, and a housekeeping staff member had to come to the room to swap the towels, which were locked in a cupboard. The ad also implied daily cleaning, but we left the cleaning sign and they didn’t clean, so the bathroom stayed damp along with the towels we used. The reservation manager messaged twice through the system to confirm check‑out time and offered help, but when I asked to replace the wet towels with dry ones, I was completely ignored. Reception only provided one access card/energy card for the room, so I didn’t understand why there was a mini fridge that wouldn’t work until I left, since you have to take the card and cut the power to exit. The room had a strange odor I couldn’t identify, the bathroom shower had grease stains indicating no cleaning, and the tiny trash bin barely handled the paper waste.
