“A quiet, spacious, and well-located stay with a warm host—perfect for groups.”
We were a group of eight friends who enjoyed cooking, relaxing, and spending quality time together; the place is very close to Dickwella Beach, and Hiriketiya is just a short tuk‑tuk ride away (around 400 LKR), though it’s also walkable; despite being near the main road, the setting is surprisingly quiet, making it perfect for groups; our host Chamila was warm, welcoming, and always helpful—he even treated us to cake; the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well‑maintained, adding to our overall comfort.
“Ruhige Lage, nah zum Strand”
We booked two nights on a whim because we wanted a place a bit away from the loud bustle in Hiriketiya; the accommodation sits at the end of a side street and is very quiet; the room was huge, which was great; we were greeted very nicely and the host kindly took care of a transfer at the end; we definitely recommend the place.

This is a great location close to both Dickwella beach (great for kids) and Hiri beach (good for surf and more party vibe - also smaller so gets a lot more busy). The room is very big and it has a great hot shower (rare!). There are shared kitchen facilities. There were quite a lot of ants in the kitchen - know this is hard to combat though when in tropical climate and people leaving things out

The villa is simply excellent; it’s very easy to find from the road; it’s a quiet spot surrounded by greenery, near a road but you hear no noise at all; the beach is a 5‑minute walk, and there are cafés, shops, and everything you need nearby; the room is large, the bathtub is also large, hot water and great Wi‑Fi; the room had a fridge, hair dryer, kettle, wardrobe; the kitchen has plenty of cooking appliances; the lovely grounds include a garden, a balcony on the second floor; it’s very clean; the host is very good, offered fruit, drove us to the station, was polite and kind; I stayed for 10 days, an excellent place for a peaceful break; Dickwella is a pretty town, the beach is good, you can swim.
