The room felt like business class and check‑in was quick and smooth. However, my wife and I ran into three bugs during our three‑night stay: one on the nightstand next to the bed, another on the bathroom floor, and a third already squished on the “clean towel” left by housekeeping, which was hanging beside the sink. On the second day, our table had obvious peeling across the top and was sticky, all three lamps had large cracks in their shades and handles, and one bulb was out. The bed seemed broken—I'm not sure if it was the mattress or the frame, but when lying down the bed frame pulled my feet higher than my head.

In room 117 my iPhone charger was stolen; I reported it twice at reception but there was no sense of urgency. In room 129 the suitcase lock combination was tampered with and they couldn't open it.

“Comfortable bed, which is good because you’ll be tired from walking there from the horrible parking lot.”

The beds were comfortable, but parking was awful. Walking to the rooms was a long trek, the elevators were tiny and oddly placed, and the layout felt strange. It probably was the nicest hotel when it was built, but everything has aged and much of it is in disrepair now.

The place was lovely, the breakfast was good and there was an on‑site restaurant, all very interesting. Nothing negative.
