Very good hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. For us it was a great base for hiking in the Alps of Slovenia, Italy, and Austria. The owner is very responsive and flexible. I recommend it.

Very good hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. For us it was a great base for hiking in the Alps of Slovenia, Italy, and Austria. The owner is very responsive and flexible. I recommend it.

The dinner was excellent. The description mentioned a bike rental, but the hotel had none. It was a pity because we wanted to cycle to the lake.

Breakfast was tasty and plenty – not a huge spread, but we had everything we needed to start the day right. If something ran out, they refilled it quickly. The room itself was spacious and well laid out, but we were stuck on the ground floor. The windows and terrace door were tucked under the first‑floor overhang, so the room felt dark and stuffy. Ventilation was a hassle; we couldn’t leave a window open at night, only half‑open.
