“Good value for money”
The location was good and the value for money was solid, yet the room smelled like cigarette smoke when we arrived, the bathroom drawer was full of rubbish and cigarette butts, and it just wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped.
“Tout juste correct”
The rates were affordable and the room was clean. The building felt old‑fashioned, parking nearby was impossible, and the bedding was uncomfortable.
We only needed a one‑night stay in Durrës, and for that it was fine; the bed was superb and the location was great, just a 4‑minute walk from the bus station, but there were issues with the sockets—there weren’t enough, the ones that existed were ripped and non‑functional, except one near the TV; the shower had no hot water and there was no hair dryer.

The breakfasts were very good, the coffee was excellent, there was plenty of fruit, the hotel had a family‑friendly vibe, the staff were courteous and the service was superb. The room was air‑conditioned and there was parking available right next to the hotel, making the quality‑price ratio very high. I didn’t notice any shortcomings.
