The Antelope at Upavon

“A really good room, friendly staff and lovely breakfast! What more could you want!”

The location was spot‑on for our visit, and the room, though small, had every essential for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was included in the price, freshly cooked and lovely. The staff we met were friendly and helpful, and we’d book again. There was nothing we disliked; the beds were comfy and the room clean. A window or vent in the shower would have been nice, but it wasn’t essential.

“Warm welcome, dog friendly and delicious food with gluten free options.”

The Antelope offered excellent value for money: simple, clean en suite accommodation that welcomes pets. Dinner was delicious with plenty of options and breakfast was tailor-made for each of us. Located Near Marlborough, between Stonehenge and Avebury Rings and just over 1/2 hour drive to Salisbury, The Antelope makes an excellent stay/stopoff for driving around Wiltshire's most interesting sites, but the busy road means it wouldn't be a first choice if you were looking for a rural country spa

“Fantastic!”

The manager is the sweetest person we’ve ever met, and the food was delicious while the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend it to everyone!

“Als je houdt van een pub met B&B is The Antilope een goede keuze.”

The hotel sits quietly in the village centre, and there’s a cozy pub‑restaurant where you’re warmly welcomed. The rooms were renovated some time ago but feel somewhat dated; the double beds are small by modern standards. If you sleep at the front, you’ll hear early‑morning traffic.
