A warm welcome, great spot close to the main road that’s quiet when the windows are shut. The on‑site restaurant is excellent and super convenient. Breakfast was fantastic, parking was a breeze, and the room felt instantly comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. No complaints.

The rooms were lovely, beautifully decorated, and the team that maintains them deserves kudos. Breakfast was very good. Everything was just right.

“An absolute gem”

Everything was spot on—almost a little resort vibe. The rooms are newly built or refurbished and absolutely stunning, with beds that are so comfy. The food was great, a real gem of a place. Wish it were within walking distance of a beach! Haha.

“Atmospheric pub/hotel in great location”

Great spot for exploring Cornwall. The bedrooms in renovated outbuildings are really good, with a lovely large bed and walk‑in shower. The pub has a nice atmosphere and all the staff are friendly. I didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The duvets were far too hot for the season and couldn’t be changed for some reason. The food in the restaurant is good but pretends to be better than it is. There was a specials menu, but it was the same on both nights we stayed, which defeats the idea of a special menu. Wine was very expensive except for the house wine, which turned out to be very good. We’ll return, as these are only minor gripes.

“The best stay during our vacation in Cornwall & Devon!”

This was the best stay of our two‑week holiday in Cornwall and Devon. The rooms were modern, spacious, and ultra‑clean. The location was perfect. We stayed for two nights but already wanted to book longer. The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was just perfect. Nothing to add.
