A charming B&B where time seems to have stopped. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean and quiet, and we can only recommend it.

The ambience is very nice, the breakfast dishes are great, and parking across the street is simple. The coffee is excellent, though the standard breakfast offered is basic.

The B&B’s location, the parking right on Water St, the main street with its cafés and restaurants nearby, and the direct view of the harbor are all great, and breakfast under the veranda is superb. The sink outside the bathroom is a minor annoyance but not too bothersome in the end.

From the first phone call until the end of our stay, the hospitality was incredibly friendly, and the area is lovely to explore—from the university town on the way to whale spotting.
