The price is optimal and the location convenient; a shared kitchen, dining area, tables outside and inside, and a barbecue are available, though you need to bring your own charcoal. However, there isn’t enough cookware and no electric kettle.

The forest nearby provides fresh air. The downside is that the room lacks a refrigerator and the hotel has no kettle, so I had to ask the host each time, which was inconvenient.

The staff were helpful and gave us anti‑nausea medication. My son suffered food poisoning from their meatballs and vomited all night, so we couldn’t hike the 7 Rila Lakes.

The guest house itself is pretty good. Everything you need to cook is there – a barbecue, oven, stovetop, microwave, dishes, cutlery. There’s a tavern on the ground floor and tables right in front of the courtyard, plus a coffee machine. Shops are close by and the pool is very affordable. Parking for cars is available. My room was spacious, clean, and had a nice balcony. The host, a sweet lady, was always ready to help and point you in the right direction.
