We were after a laid‑back family break on a working farm, full of animals, fresh country air and no schedule pressure – and that’s exactly what the Schnatterhof offered. The hosts were wonderfully warm and attentive. Our one‑year‑old got to see and pet rabbits, cats (Simba, Nala, etc.), dog Paco, ducks, chickens, geese, pheasants, sheep, donkeys and even a llama. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and varied. The holiday apartment was spacious and well equipped.

Breakfast was top notch, but the room had only internal blinds, so it got really hot inside.

Nice location, big room, but no breakfast on New Year’s Day and no heads‑up about it.
