Charming View Homestay

It’s outside the center but only a 10‑minute walk along the train tracks! Very friendly and the breakfast was great! We slept in the downstairs room, which had been freshly painted and everything was clean! No complaints.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the place feels magical with a great view, and we could hear the train passing by the terrace twice a day—quite entertaining for the kids. We walked 10 minutes on the railway to reach Ella’s city centre. The location is ideal: close to the town yet very quiet. Breakfast was generous and tasty. I recommend this spot.

“Logement au calme, proche de tout, avec des hôtes adorables”

The spot was perfect, peaceful but close to Ella, and there were inexpensive restaurants just a stone’s throw away. The room was spotless, and the breakfasts were varied and outstanding. The Wi‑Fi was inconsistent, though.

“Great view, with large balcony overlooking the train track, 10 mins to town.”

The view of the train track, waterfall, and balcony was beautiful, and the large private family room with two double beds was spacious. Walking down the track into Ella was easy. The hosts served a great breakfast. However, the stay feels basic: there’s no fridge, no air‑con, and getting to town by tuk‑tuk is difficult because it’s hard to book transport to the guest house. The shower temperature swings from boiling hot to freezing cold, and the sheets and towels feel a bit old. Still, the room is clean and large, the breakfast is excellent, and the family are very kind.

“Lovely hosts and it really is a charming view.”

The hosts were lovely and the location and view were amazing. The rooms can get warm in the evenings even though fans are available.
