The spot was spot on—great location, super convenient and cheap. The staff were really nice, respectful, friendly, and gave us loads of info about Family Day and graduation day at Fort Jackson. The only gripe: the bathroom door hinges weren’t screwed in, so the door kept stalling when opening and closing.

Breakfast was decent, and the location was great—right next to a bunch of restaurants and grocery stores. The building feels very old and needs a full makeover with new furniture and bathroom upgrades, though the air conditioner worked fine. I spotted a few tiny bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. It was an emergency stay because every other nearby hotel and suite was booked for the college football game.

The only thing worth mentioning was the location near the Army Base; everything else was a disappointment.

The place is in a great spot, close to everything. Hot water was fine, the AC worked great, and the room was clean. The front desk team was outstanding—polite and helpful. The main problems were the strong cigarette smoke smell in the room and a recurring issue with the door that needs fixing.
