The location is good, and the room comes with tea, coffee, and water. The bed is comfortable. I was warned about noise before booking, but I didn’t realize how loud it was since the room is right next to the function room. Ear plugs are provided. The bathroom feels cold and has mold patches on the ceiling.

The place had a really cool vibe, rooms were spacious and comfy, breakfast was tasty, and the staff were super friendly. The location was excellent, just one block from the seafront.

The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious, decorated like a boutique hotel. Breakfast was really nice, and the downstairs bar is great for hanging out. The staff were efficient, but they weren't very calm or welcoming.

The decor matched the photos, and the hotel has real charm with each room uniquely decorated. We were three people in two rooms, and each bathroom was properly separate from the bedroom, giving a rare sense of space. The hotel sits above the pub of the same name, a nice spot if you enjoy that kind of atmosphere. The staff were helpful; I forgot my phone charger and they lent me one for the whole stay. Cleanliness was a major problem, and for the price we paid it was unacceptable. The bathroom was especially bad, with blackened limescale in the sink and very dirty toilets, not a recent mess but grime built up over time from poor cleaning. The window frames were in poor condition, with the wood crumbling. The location isn't central; the centre is about a 20‑25 minute walk away. It's not the hotel's fault, but keep that in mind.
