The hotel is beautifully located, the garden is simply amazing. Staying at Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat is one of my favorite moments of our Vietnam trip. The breakfast and restaurant dishes, including Western cuisine, were very tasty; the staff and everyone working at the venue are extremely kind and helpful, many speak flawless English. The pool is wonderful, exactly as shown in the hotel photos. We’re looking forward to returning 😊. We used the free bikes, which let us take a great tour of the area. Unfortunately (maybe we were unlucky), the brakes were weak and a child’s pedal fell off. Luckily no one was hurt, but it shouldn’t happen, so we advise to test the bike thoroughly before riding. This situation didn’t affect our overall rating of the hotel or our impressions; we simply learned that it’s worth living by the rule “trust but verify,” even in a good hotel 😉

The facilities were high quality, clean, and quiet, but the check‑out felt a bit rushed and the laundry service was lacking.
