Good, basic hotel. Construction meant the pool and gym were closed with no updates about this while booking online.

There is nothing to like at Randolph Hotel Liverpool Syracuse Airport. The shuttle driver was courteous. My son drove me from his home two hours away. I thought staying near the airport was a good idea since my flight was at 6:10 am. If I had driven to the hotel and I wasn’t exhausted, I would have walked out. The hotel had an off odor. The room had an off odor. Many doors of the rooms were propped open. From outside, I noted many of the rooms windows were open. What else… Lack of info for surrounding area from front desk. The clerk was friendly enough but not familiar with area regarding restaurants/door dash options. No flyers with info about local offerings. I had arranged for the shuttle to the airport for 4:30 am. When I checked in, I requested to change the shuttle time to 4 am as my flight was international. The checkout clerk said there was no note regarding that change. I know 4 am is not everyone’s favorite time but the checkout clerk could not have been less courteous/friendly. I have never in all of my travels been bothered enough to take the time to give a bad review. I just hope this review saves someone from an experience close to mine.
