The mobile home was very large, a bit dated but extremely comfortable; we were initially worried about the spring mattress but ended up sleeping well, the heating system worked great and the electric faux‑fireplace quickly warmed the main area, which was a pleasant surprise, plus the host’s support was excellent and the nearby castle gardens were worth the walk. The kitchen was well equipped yet the pots and pans were too small for cooking for four, and while the campsite itself stayed quiet, we could hear neighbors coming and going, although there was no road noise inside the mobile home despite being very close.

“Great location for work and nice and peaceful”

The location is excellent. There’s no food available on site on Monday and Tuesday.

The place is very spacious and quiet. The single beds were too springy, so we had to use the duvets to keep the kids from feeling the springs; otherwise, the kids felt the springs under them. Overall, it’s good value for money.

“A perfect week near Inverness”

The location was perfect, a quiet site just 5 minutes from Forres. Murray was the perfect host. The caravan was clean, didn't smell and was very well appointed. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, hand soap, washing up liquid, a full set of towels for 4 people, spare toilet rolls and kitchen roll. Foil and clingfilm to mention a few. The best appointed caravan we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be going back. Nothing

“It was a good base for visiting attractions in the area”

The location is convenient for shops and tourist spots, and there are plenty of short‑drive walks nearby. The site is quiet, and the owner is on site and helpful with advice. An inn serving food is within an east‑walking distance. There was no Wi‑Fi, and the kitchenware was quite basic: only one knife for chopping veg, and no egg cups.
