The spot is in a solid location, the host is genuinely friendly and well‑versed, and everything you could possibly need is there. The fox‑themed décor was playful and enjoyable, too. I just wish the futon had a touch more cushioning.
The owner loves traveling and Pokémon‑related things, so chatting about trips was fun. The accommodation sits in the heart of Kotohira Town, which is very convenient. No complaints.

I received a cute, original towel from the host as part of the amenities, which was the first time I’d gotten such a gift at a guest house, so I was delighted. The owner had many travel photos from different places, which made the experience exciting.
