The hotel is surrounded by lively shops, restaurants, museums, theatres, Philharmonic, and opera, with the main railway station just a 4-minute walk away and Köln Messe exhibition centre nearby.

Really central. A 5‑minute walk from the train station in the middle of a pedestrian zone. Good breakfast selection with a professional coffee machine, fresh rolls, meats, jams, yogurts, cereals. Very clean facility with a 24‑hour front desk. Wi‑Fi isn’t fast enough for business use.

The spot is great, yet the hotel feels outdated, with mold spots on the bathroom ceiling, rooms that let in a lot of sound, and a very modest breakfast.

The location was good, but the place wasn’t clean, the neighbors were noisy, the breakfast was tiny, and I’d suggest gradually renewing everything and wiping the chairs—there were splashes that probably dated back to Friday, still visible on Monday morning.

The spot is right in the heart of the city, overlooking the cathedral, and the continental breakfast is solid. The only downside is that there’s no tea or coffee machine in the room.
