The place is right where you want to be, and the hosts are genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The room was spotless and surprisingly comfortable. Only downside was that the on‑site restaurant was shut, which was a bit disappointing.

“Wandern beginnt vor der Haustür”

Staying in that room felt like being inside one of César Manrique’s lava pools on Lanzarote – the design is truly out of the ordinary. The meals were tasty and the portions were big enough to satisfy even a hungry truck driver. The only drawback was how thin the walls were; we could hear everything from the rooms above.

“Quirky and friendly, but be prepared for basic amenities”

The hotel’s quirky vibe and the bird‑filled views from both the restaurant and our glass‑walled bedroom made the stay feel special, especially with the river’s night sounds in the background. We enjoyed a solid dinner, a comfy mattress, and the convenience of free parking and bag storage after checkout.

The hotel sits right next to the park entrance and a bus stop, so getting around was easy. My room was on the lower floor, and the wood floors upstairs made the restaurant noise echo loud. Still, the location was great.
