“Un jardín con alma en el Penedès”
A spectacular garden with a magnificent olive tree that seems to be the heart of the house, tree swings, an anecdotal frog pond, and the necessary shade areas in summer. All of this makes up for the fact that the pool is more of a small bathing pit. The house is very spacious, has a ping‑pong table in the lower level, a nice living room, and a well‑equipped kitchen. The barbecue pavilion is fully functional. The rooms on the second floor have powerful fans and the beds are comfortably adequate. As for the surroundings, Vilafranca and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia are worth a visit, and the vineyard countryside scenery is very pleasant at sunset, more than the dry summer climate would suggest. The lunar landscape of the Foix reservoir is worth exploring when the water recedes and leaves a dry mud crust, with bird watching at the foot of Castellet Castle. The pool is too small, and the garden umbrella is defective, which would be very useful for outdoor meals.
