The view was amazing, the place was super quiet, and you could step straight onto the lake. The historic, artistic feel of the building added to the charm, and the breakfast spread was solid with good coffee.

Food was tasty, lunch and dinner a la carte. But the staff never greeted anyone and looked bored; the coffee machine was always jammed in the morning, so I had to sneak into the adjacent room for a cup, only to be scolded by a colleague who told me not to stand behind the bar. The breakfast buffet was often missing plates, the olive oil ran out and didn't get refilled the next day, and the overall hospitality felt lacking.

The house is well run, staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is top‑notch, both in the restaurant and at breakfast where fresh, high‑quality items are offered. The quiet atmosphere lets you relax, even though the nearby camping site is close. But the price feels high for what you get; the rooms don't match the upscale vibe, and at breakfast the restocking of items is slow, so you might wait over 25 minutes for fresh bread or ham.

The staff were both competent and friendly, which made checking in a breeze. Parking was easy to find, and they even provide a covered spot for bicycles. All in all, a hassle‑free stay.
