Bed and Breakfast Giaveno

“Come a casa”

The place is tucked into the Piedmont mountains, quiet and close to essential services. The host welcomed us impeccably, ensuring everything was in place. She took care that breakfast was ready. When we asked for tea for breakfast and the lemon ran out, she immediately arranged to get it. The next day, to make sure breakfast was fine, she baked a delicious cake with a special flavor. In short, at B&B Giaveno you feel at home. Extra points for letting our dog in without hassle. Highly recommended, I will definitely return.

The apartment is large and spacious. The kitchen and bedroom are big. The bathroom has a bathtub, which should be noted for people with mobility issues. The B&B is very pretty but a bit close to the road and without AC, so you have to sleep with the window open in the heat. It’s hard to sleep early while cars pass by. The bedding should be changed because it doesn’t encourage a return, even though the apartment is great! The mattress is thick but soft… a pity.

The host is very friendly, we were accepted with our dog which is a plus for us, and we received an excellent cake for breakfast.

“Bel posto dentro e fuori. Portatevi lenzuola, usate solo il piano cottura e andrà tutto bene!”

The location was great, the interior spaces were wide and the kitchen was spacious. Breakfast was decent but minimal. The microwave and oven were dirty and unusable, and the beds were unclean; one set of sheets looked already used and none of the rooms had a mattress protector. Bring your own sheets or a sleeping bag!
