The square is charming and provides good access to all the main sights. However, there’s no value for money: the room is small and nothing like the photos, toiletries are poor—no hair conditioner—and the breakfast is poor, with nothing freshly prepared except coffee.

The location is great, the beds are comfortable, and the room for Venice is spacious with ample storage and very well equipped. It’s a quiet area within a short walk of all sites, and the ladies at breakfast are wonderful. I definitely recommend it. The downside is that you have to drag your luggage to the hotel from the pier, about 5 minutes with some steps over two bridges. It would be nice if the reception offered help for a fee; we were two women, one disabled, so it was quite a struggle. The breakfast selection could also be larger.

The staff were polite and friendly. The only drawback was that water was limited to one bottle per day per person.

The place was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. The breakfast could be more varied.

The bed was comfy and roomy, and the welcome was warm, but the bathroom wasn’t insulated and the cable channel selection in French was limited.
