“A bit disappointed”
The location was okay, but I was honestly a bit disappointed. The floors were definitely dirty for a while. The photos don’t reflect the reality; the interior and bathroom feel outdated and, in my opinion, not worth the money. It might suit people who just want a place to sleep and then use the sauna, but for us it wasn’t a good idea. The main issue was cleanliness and the lack of facilities.

The spot right on the dune was perfect, but the bathroom sink was broken until it was fixed right away, and even the squeaky door got oiled without complaint.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient, only scrambled eggs on Sunday and also some fried bacon, the view of the Weser mouth was nice, the sheep on the dike were well‑trained and hardly bleated at night 😊, but the facilities were more like a youth hostel, though that was fine for a short trip with friends, and there was a private bathroom/toilet.
I liked the location and the price, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was great, but the room was too small and the shower was tiny with a curtain that only stuck to one side.
We stayed on the third floor in a nice room with a great view over the dike all the way to Bremerhaven, there’s a small sauna that requires a sign‑up, free parking is ample, but you have to walk about 100 m to the hotel, the juice at breakfast was really bad and needed improvement, and on the day of departure the elevator was broken so we had to carry our luggage down.
